Nivea Perfect and Radiant Micellar Water- Review

When it comes to those late nights when taking off your makeup is the last thing you feel like doing, micellar waters can be your lifesaver. And there’s a new kid on the block bringing some serious competition in terms of not only price but look, feel and mascara-remove-ability (Which is a real word, in my opinion). Say hello to Nivea Perfect and Radiant Micellar Water!

We all have our “non-negotiables” and for me it is taking off my makeup at night. I’m no saint in the skincare department – even though I have my best intentions- but I have settled with myself that I will never sleep with makeup on. However, late at night it’s the last thing3 in 1 cleansing water- leaves your skin feeling great:) you feel like doing. I’ve been hunting for a good micellar water for a while now and have tried Garnier, L’Oreal as well as the trusty Bioderma. All of these products are great but I haven’t found one that is easy on the pocket but still compliments my skin type (Some leave my skin too dry, others too oily.. the struggles of combination skin!)  And I have been pleasantly surprised by Nivea with this product!

This bottle packs a serious punch in the price saving department as it is 400ml and retails for R99,99.

Containing Vitamin E, the formula with micellar technology traps even small particles of dirt and makeup like a magnet and deeply cleanses the skin. It amazingly gently removes makeup without rubbing and refreshes and tones the skin and supports its beautiful, radiant appearance. Tip – Make sure to always run a micellar water laden cotton pad across the bottom of your jaw as more makeup is there than you realize!

Nivea Perfect and Radiant Micellar

Definitely gets point for packaging and feel on the skin (And feel on the pocket!)

Sidenote, I recommend always washing your face and moisturizing afterwards – although these products are great I find giving it a wash takes off the last bit of stray makeup. Micellar waters can’t completely replace your entire skin care routine!

The only downside for me is that they don’t offer it in smaller sizes. I mean going away for one or two nights it will sure be hard to fit this giraffe sized bottle into my overnight toiletry bag. That’s what I love about the Garnier range – the travel sized micellar water.

Aaaannndd the best part is that Clicks are having a promotion until 11 October where you can buy any three selected Nivea Skincare Products and get the cheapest free! You can go check it out here!

I have seen so many good reviews on this micellar water. I am personally a massive Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water fan, but always keen to try something new. Putting this on my shopping list 🙂
